The new owner, Andrew Johnson, is full of fresh new ideas on how we can grow this company.
"I am excited about being the new owner of the WBS Billfishing World Tour. I want to make the WBS the place to go to for anything billfish related."
Mr. Johnson has purchased the company as a new LLC so we are not associated to the old WBS at all. The previous owners will have nothing to do with the new WBS, nor will he be staying on in any sort of a consultation role.
What You Can Expect:
You will soon see our new branding for the company including a fresh take on the logo. We will also be giving the FishWBS.com website a whole new look and make it more user friendly.
Even though we are growing and changing we want you to know that we are still here for you. For now Linda Fisher-Morgan will be your point of contact to the WBS Billfishing World Tour. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us.
In the next 6 months to a year you will see some changes to how the WBS is run, how the individual sanctioned tournaments on the WBS Billfishing World Tour will be treated and the benefits we offer to our Angler Cub Members.
The WBS main office will remain in the St.Petersburg/Tampa area of Florida but will be moved to a new World Headquarters after the completion of our new building.
